Project SummaryExploring textiles. A collaboration between Craftspace and Saltley School.
The core of the exhibition results from a residency of London based textiles artist Natasha Kerr and Birmingham writer Wanjiku Nyachae at Saltley School in Birmingham. The artists worked with a group of Year 10 art and design students at the school to create textile narratives incorporating aspects of their own and their families' history, memory and identity.
